Who we Are, Our Story
Since it’s inception, Calvary Chapel has been focused on letting Christ lead us to build lives for His Kingdom. The church was established in 1980 by a few people who believed that there was a need for a new church in Buffalo. A church that would reach and minister to all ages and all nationalities and colors. A church that would be a lighthouse for Jesus. Since that time, there have been a lot of changes. Our facilities and staff have grown. Our congregation has grown exponentially. We’ve seen around 400 souls saved and baptized. We’ve added ministries locally, nationally, and abroad. But through all of those changes, our focus and vision have remained constant - to be Christ Centered & Outward Focused.
What To Expect

You’ll find that we are a diverse group of people brought together by the unity of
following Jesus. We want you to be warmly welcomed and comfortable. We have two Sunday worship experiences - 8:45am which has more traditional hymns and choruses and 11am which includes modern worship songs and remakes of classics. In both of these services we have a “come as you are” model which means you will see some in suits and dresses and others in jeans and tshirts. Mostly we look forward to seeing people meet Jesus and be transformed by renewal, redemption and redirection. We can’t wait to go on that journey with you!”
