Is Your Next Step of Obedience BAPTISM?
Baptism is an ordinance of our faith and a direct command from Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20). It is a public profession of our belief and a way for us to celebrate the justifying work Jesus does in our lives. Starting in July, we will dedicate the last Sunday of each month as a Baptism Sunday! In this way we can have anticipated days to celebrate our faith in Christ together as a Calvary Chapel family. If you have been considering baptism, we would invite you to contact the Church Office or one of the pastors to discuss being a part of one of these celebration days. For the July 26th Baptism Day, in addition to being baptized during one of our three morning worship services, candidates will also have the option to be baptized in the river that afternoon.
